Halo to all.
My 2-week mid-semester break has started, and what no perfect opportunity than to type off a new blog to keep the site fresh from frozen storage, otherwise known as "Let It Go"... permanently. Anyway, other than those piled up school work that needed some doing, many things have occurred right from my perspective for these past 3 months. As Cortana said, I'll walk you through it.
First off, my close relatives came to visit Singapore for the second time last May. It's been great to be reunited with them in person, as the last time I returned to the Philippines was almost 3 years ago. My father finally had a person-to-person chat with his sister, thus no need for Skype, for there will always be these frequent problems experienced like... "Camera not on, I cannot see you.", "Your voice is choppy, maybe something wrong with your connection", "Voice chat goes down whenever I answer your call", and maybe a few more but I shall not go into detail. Lololol. One thing is for sure, my relatives did notice the big changes Singapore had gone through as compared to visiting here 7 years ago. The old Sentosa they used to see has now been replaced with the touristic Resorts World. The old parks in Marina Bay are now replaced by the majestic Marina Bay Sands and the Gardens By The Bay. Even they noticed that majority of the buses are the new-types (The ones with digital markings and numberings.), as compared to the old-types. (Yeah, I've been enthusiastically trying to grab one of such rare rides, because one day, such antiques will disappear.) Still, they really enjoyed their holiday trip here, and I hope they will visit us again someday... Or instead, maybe my family will visit them too. Let time answer our next meeting anyways. :)
Secondly, I made a heap loads of unique achievements yesterday, in which they are categorized under "My Adventure". No, it has nothing to do with venturing into the "Flower" or "Black Hole" or "Seaweed", innuendo what I mean. (What!? Innuendo rhymes with "If you know". XD). Anyway, as the double-decker bus that I was supposed to take towards home from school (I came to school to complete a Practical Test.) just left the interchange, 2 minutes later, another one showed up, and what's surprising was that I was the only one in the queue. C'mon, 2 minutes. There's bound to be like 2 or 3 people coming into the queue, but oh well. As I entered the bus with pride (Yeah. Pride. Too overly-exaggerated much. XD), the bus doors had closed, hence, I attained the achievement, "The One And Only Lone Wolf Legend". (Halo Reach much?) That's not all, I own the whole double-decker bus to myself, both the top and bottom deck, thus having attained the achievement, "All Your Base Are Belonging To Me". Finally, for the entire journey, from the bus interchange beside my school, to the interchange within my neighborhood, not a single passenger has climbed up to the top deck of the bus, since the bus was trailing a minute behind the other bus I was supposed to take, and the fact that it was off-peak hours at that time. Henceforth, I am proud to attain this achievement (Which I self-proclaim it to be worth a hefty 350 Gamerscore. ^^), "The Wandering Solo Of The Seven Seas". Ooooh that's a hecking lot of '7' references. I LOVE IT! If you think this whole paragraph was simulated in my dreams, just look at my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook images. Hehehe...
Lastly, consider this to be the main highlight of this blog but during this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) held once again at Los Angeles, 343i has officially announced (And finally disclosed, after hearing many rumors about it. Bleh with them impatient leakers.) the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which will be out this 11 November 2014 on the Xbox One. It contains the four main Halo games released (Halo 1 - 4), but that's not all. I shall list to you all the main differences to look out for:
- Halo 1 will still be released on its Anniversary Edition, however this time, its Multiplayer will comprise of all Halo 1 Maps (Including those from PC. :D) operating at its original engine (Not the Halo Reach engine anymore.).
- Halo 2 will be released on its Anniversary Edition to celebrate its 10th Year Anniversary, the same treatment Halo 1 had 3 years ago. Terminals will be included as well, which link to the events that will occur in Halo 5: Guardians. Its Multiplayer will comprise of all Halo 2 Maps (Including those from PC.) operating at its original engine. Of all such maps, 6 of them will be remastered to operate under a hybridized Halo engine meant for the Xbox One.
- Halo 3 & Halo 4 has undergone some slight graphical enhancements to appear just like an 8th Generation Game, basically, how the game would have looked like if it were released on the Xbox One. Their Multiplayer will comprise of all Maps (Including all DLCs.).
- The game will run for the first time in franchise history at 60 Frames-Per-Second, as well as Native 1080p. Dedicated servers will be utilized as well.
- Skill ranking in Multiplayer will be displayed and unified (Not only based on one Halo installment alone.). Campaign will also have custom playlists.
- Included in the Collection is the digital access to the upcoming 5-part movie, Halo: Nightfall, featuring a prominent character who will also appear in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.
- Finally, but most importantly, you'll get access to the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta (YAAAAY!) which launches from late December 2014 to late January 2015. (Consider this to be one of the best Christmas & Birthday present I can ever receive! :D :D :D)
This big Halo Collection at a very reasonable price of 60 USD (75 SGD) is the reason why I MUST buy an Xbox One this year, rather than next year. Alongside Halo: The Master Chief Collection, I will be buying Destiny (Developed by Bungie, the original developers of the Halo franchise, until 343i took over.), as well as Halo 5: Guardians, which will be out next year. I just wanna give props and thanks to 343i for giving your dedication to us fans who have been with the franchise from the very beginning. I'm looking forward to your next big game next year. <3
Well, that wraps up what I wanted to spur out of my mouth. Speaking of spur, congratulations to the Spurs for gaining sweet sweet revenge against the Heat (Or I call it, "Beat The Heat".) for stealing their NBA Championship last year. Looks like "The Beautiful Game" really had paid off. Even they proved that going through the bad is how you'll end up doing good. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to getting myself an Xbox One and make sweet love to it, by inserting a disc into it and blast out its pleasuring moans all over the house. :3 Too much loud explicit details eh? You should know me very well that I am very innuendoisitic. LOLOLOL! I'll be blogging once again after the Semestral Exams are over, so look out for it this September. Till then, see you starside.
