There And Back Again

Halo to all.

I miss nostalgia, and so do you all. It definitely brings a smile to your face regardless of whether you see, speak, hear, or think of it. :) Speaking of such unforgettable memories, I shall share with you my Throwback Nostalgia, whereby in each blog, I shall recall my past events in life under a theme that is in a form of a word. I will post such blogs until my next holiday (This September) begins. Alright... Here we go. Today, I will talk about...

CLUMSINESS

My parents know me well of such weakness I had since I was young. I was not referring to my carelessness in School Work as all of us students make mistakes in any way, but I was actually referring to my tendency to do tasks in a 'slippery' way or cause events in a 'sloppy' way.

For instance, when I was 7 years old, my mother and I went to Liberty Supermarket (Now replaced by Carefour, then Cold Storage) at Plaza Singapura to buy some groceries. Somewhere during the middle of our time spent there. I was playfully pushing and pulling the trolley (C'mon, I'm really young. I do random things you know? XD). Such recklessness led to a consequence: I accidentally bumped onto a shelf that was aligned with food sauces contained in glass jars. Upon bumping, one of the glass jars fell off the shelf and upon contact with the floor, it's cracking noise could have startled the entire Supermarket. Of course, I still was a kid back then, and I know nothing of embarrassment. However, my mother did, and oh my... She was really furious of what I had unintentionally done. Fortunately, she does not need to pay what was lost in that glass jar.

Next, I shall look into further detail on a particular day during the end of my lesson time at Saint Stephens School (My Primary School... Ah yes, computer labs everytime after examination week was over. Good stuff. :D), as my classmates and I were released after the class bell had rung, I excitedly rush 3 floors down to the foyer and ran like an immature boy towards my school bus in order to be the first student inside. But as I was running, I tripped and hit the ground... Face first! Do not worry, neither my face skin got scraped nor my mouth received a cleft gap. It was actually my front 2 buck tooth that cracked into half. Once again my mother was furious when she noticed my damaged teeth. At least they were fixed during dental therapy months later. I don't need to be seen by others as some typical low-class hillbilly farmer. XD

Another act of clumsiness I did was 4 years ago, when I was returning a glass for drinking to the kitchen. As I was pulling my right arm up to prepare placing the glass on the sink, I was too close to the kitchen door that when the glass hit it, it shattered to pieces. Dayumn! Obviously, my mother got furious again.

As you can see, I don't have a thing with glasses (I did not mean by 'In a relationship' with it, unless you are referring to a girl with glasses, then that would be an exception. ^^). That's why, I'd sometimes hold glasses close to me in a way I was reciting pledges. Yeah... I wish I was holding my fated-one-to-be-with close to me right now... Uhummm... Okay, enough with the lovesickness, Paolo. Lol! :3

Other than the 'Breaking Glasses' fetishism, I frequently slip on the floor after the rain had receded, and it was usually in front of the public. How humiliating. @_@ I also tend to trip along the staircase whether walking up or down or even backwards (Scrap the third assumption. That'd be too dangerous for me. *_*) .

I was even clumsy when it comes to talking with girls. Come on, you know I am really shy towards them, and that I don't want to give bad signals. You can refer to my blog titled "On The Brink Of Returning", which talks about how my nervousness caused me to speak clumsily to the girl I liked since last year. Of course it sparked an overload of embarrassness and blushiness within me.

With that, I shall end my shameful sharing of being clumsy. Hopefully, you aren't doing the same thing as I was, or you'd really be useful as a lubricant (In case you are not sure, a lubricant is the reason why your fingers can slide easily through something sticky. Hehehe.. If you know where this is leading, then you are worthy of receiving my 'Innuendoist' badge. :D). Alright, gonna continue working on school projects that need to be polished to goodness, as well as to dream of her in my sleep. I will share my next Throwback Nostalgia when I'm free to blog again. Till then, see you starside.

Chances Are We'll Be The Combination

Halo to all.

Before I start bringing you to my thoughts of Second Chances in Romance as promised, this Blog Title shown is part of the lyrics of the song, "Chances" by Five For Fighting. After listening to this Happy-Ending-Romance-Based song a lot more than you imagined (Happiness is what we all value for the life we all wanted. :D), I kind of thought that the song was trying to show that no matter how much distance a couple had grown apart, they both would still end up together. You know why? It's because they believed in the chance that they would face better possibilities together. The chance that they deserve each other more than anyone else. The chance that they are still in love with each other. For if they have not, they would feel the endless regret, and all those memories would have scarred their hearts permanently. Henceforth, I believe in Second Chances in Romance, as no matter the issues and challenges me and my fated-one-to-be-with faced, I won't let go of her, because I see a future of us being a happy family. :) :D :3

I shall share a story (Written by me of course. Duh! I ain't plagiarizing. XD) emphasizing that Second Chances can happen. For your information, part of the story is inspired by real-life events I experienced, as well as those various popular television sitcoms I had watched. Oh, and pardon my lack of vocabulary and the ability to create a smooth story. My English Grades are not as surprising as you've thought. :P

There was this boy. Let's call him B. Unlike many boys, he ain't your typical 18 Year Old male. He is an introvert, quiet, but most prominently, a shy person, especially to girls, whom they thought this trait was a turn off for them. Kinda unlucky for him, as for the past 3 years, he felt he was rejected 3 times. On the 1st he liked, he took notice of her Facebook post, calling him something harsh. On the 2nd, he scrolled through her Tweets, clearly stating she does not like him back without adding him as a mention. He knew she was referring to him, as he made an indirect confession in Twitter, and you know how easily can this spread to other people. On the 3rd, she tried to trick him into thinking that she was taken, although no evidence proved  her attached to someone already, after he stalked her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. What's more is that she unfollowed him in Twitter, suspiciously thinking his Mentions to her are a sign of his interest towards her.

Poor B. Compared to the memorable beautiful past he experienced with his childhood friends, whom had returned back to their home country years ago, all he was facing right now was the feeling of being left out. No wonder he had been breaking down in his room sometimes, knowing he ain't happy at all. If only there was that one girl who likes him as much as he likes her.

Then, one day, while he was on his way to school to attend the 1st lesson of a new module, upon waiting at the classroom for it to start, came in a girl whom he immediately fixated his eyes upon. Let's call her G. His first impression of her: Any word which compliments her a lot. However, knowing that just liking girls before becoming a good friend to them could freak or creep them out, he thought on just being friends with her. Yet, he dosen't know he was about to venture into happiness, right from the moment she actually sat beside him. She smiled at him. He smiled back. B introduced himself nervously to G, afraid that he'd screw things up. Noticing his shy personality, G then mentioned that he was weird, yet she liked it. Of course, this gave a blush to B's cheeks, just like those Shoujo Manga moments.

After the lesson had ended, they both exchanged contacts, including those of social media material. And that was how their friendship started. During the weekends, G would call B out to hang out with her and her other friends. This gave an opportunity for B to be open. Eventually, the months had passed by, and B kept the movie tickets he bought to watch a movie with her and her friends, the gifts she bought for him, and the many pictures he took with her in a box, valuing it as how he got his way into true happiness.

Some time later, G invited B over to hang out with her at Vivo City, but this time, it was just the two of them only. B excitedly agreed, and continued to journey towards happiness with her. Moreover, he dosen't seem to be bothered by the many romantic couples at the Mall's Boardwalk, unlike before, as he was too focused enjoying his life with her. However, what he dosen't realise why she invited him was because she intended to confess something to him, but it's not the kind of confession you all thought. She confessed that she was thankful of B entering her life, feeling that he took a special place in her heart. Hence, she asked if he would be her Best Friend. This suddenly shocked B, as he thought she was about to confess her feelings towards him. But at the same time, he was happy that he felt needed. B tightly hugged G and agreed to her question.

The next day, B felt puzzled, as to why didn't G confess that she liked him instead, after she knew him for a long time. Somehow, B ignored the thought and continued to be Best Friends with G. But, this burdening thought continuously kept on hunting him, and this eventually led to a misunderstanding conflict between B and G, a week before her birthday on 20th December. This lengthened the distance between them.

During G's Birthday, B remained at home. Why? He didn't receive any invitation from her, due to what happened a week ago. Then, while the visitors are partying their hearts out, G made an announcement that the next week, she would head overseas with her family for a whole year. Knowing B wasn't around and the fact that he doesn't know what happened between him and G, one of G's friends sent a message to B about what G said just now. B replied "Okay. I see." to him, but what he didn't know that after replying, B was shocked and in sorrow, for he may soon lose someone very special in his life.

Knowing his shy nature and nervousness to confront people, B tried his very best to make a move to G's home, but avast, he was scared to do so, as negative thoughts continuously revolved around his mind. One such thoughts include the end to their friendship.

It was the evening before her flight in the late morning on 24th December. Desperately, B immediately wrapped up the box of true happiness with a note he slipped and buried into a while ago. He then placed another note at the top of the box. After which, he went over to G's house. Rather than directly entering since his relationship with her was still not fixed, he slipped the box though her bedroom window with grills upon secretly noticing her family was at the dining table. Then, he returned back home and laid back on his bed.

B felt very anxious whilst on his bed. He wondered what would happen if G didn't see the box. This triggered into what he saw as nightmares, like seeing her together with someone else, as well as spending the rest of her life with that person. This causes B to not fall asleep until the middle of the night. Because of this, he overslept, and the moment he woke up, he realized it was only an hour and 30 minutes left before G's Airplane takes off, which means 30 minutes before the time for checking had ended.

B rushed out of his house and called in for a taxi as fast as possible. Whilst on the way to the airport, he could feel his hands shaking anxiously. Immediately after reaching the airport and paying the taxi fare, B ran inside and kept his eyes peeled for G, still hoping she was still around.

Unfortunately, the worse had came. After desperately looking floor to floor, section to section, B was too late. G was no where to be found. He fell to his knees and tears trickled down from his watery eyes. Of all the times he had spent with her, they may well seem to inevitably be faded into memories.

As his family was preparing everything for Christmas Eve downstairs near at the Condominium's Clubhouse, B told them that he would remain upstairs at the house's balcony for a while. There he was sitting and staring blankly into the beautiful night sky. Feeling in sorrow, he wished to himself he shouldn't have talked to G about them being more than just Best Friends.

The clock had stroke 12 midnight and B could overhear people downstairs greeting Merry Christmas to each other. He started to weep with regret. He shouldn't had met G to face such immense suffering.

Suddenly, he heard a door opening. Assuming its one of his family members, he warned not to disturb him. Strangely, footsteps were heard approaching closer towards him. As the balcony slide doors open, there appeared G.

B immediately stood up and looked completely shocked. G held his cold hands tight to know that he was not dreaming as well as to calm him down. G explained that she saw whatever was inside his box he slid into her house, and realized how much B was a true keeper of romance. But most importantly, why her name was the only one written there. G confessed that she was afraid that B would end up rejecting her if she were to ask him to be her lover. That was why she asked him to be her best friend.

With a sign of relief, the two of them stared at each other, simultaneously blushing. Trying his best to break out of his shyness, B had his right hand touch G's smooth cheek. He then asked in a way a marriage proposal was supposed to be like: "Will you be my best friend, but also, will you be my lover...?"

In an instant, G launched at B and locked lips with him for the very first time. B had finally caught the girl of his dreams. After which, that was when they exchange their feelings for each other with 3 simple words: "I love you."

With that, hours later, when B's family returned home, they saw B and G, happily cuddling in their arms. Their love journey has finally started.

I know such story is sloppy and somewhat cliche. But what I was really trying to convey is that second chances can happen. Believe in that, because this is where keepers of romance emerge.

Anyway, as my Thoughts on Second Chances in Romance had been poured out like cum (Innuendos. I love this side of me. :P), it's on to recount about my past in future blogs. Alright, off to mindmapping my school revisions. Till then, see you starside.
